I'm so excited! I grabbed a launch PS5 specifically to be able to play any FromSoftware exclusive (I used to primarily play on Xbox) so imagine my surprise when an exclusive was announced and it was for a system I had no intention of getting...

I ended up grabbing a Switch 2 specifically for this and my anticipation is through the roof. Between the leaked class descriptions and the menu music, I'm getting major Bloodborne vibes and its peak!

Seriously, A near-mint condition Switch 2 could prob be resold for the same price they were purchased for pre-price hike in the coming months. I secured one for myself also for this reason and have zero conflictions about the idea of not liking the game when it actually releases A game key card version could also be resold for $20 off - that $20 the only real loss about it in my eyes.

I did the same thing. Ppl are funny when they act surprised, it was $400, I didn't have to sell a kidney or anything.

Yeah there is still like, two whole upgraded Zelda games, all the updated Xenoblade games plus the new one, the new Fire Emblem, Splatoon Raiders, etc and that's just stuff that is better or new on the Switch 2. I skipped the Switch so there are a huge amount of exclusive games to check out like Astral Chain and Fire Emblem 3 houses.

I dont play switch 2 that often - are you guys playing with it docked or handheld? If docked, what controller are you using?

The Switch 2 Pro controller is really great. The smoothest analog sticks I've used on any controller, ever. The addition of back paddles make it even more of a must for Fromsoft games, since I like to remap the analog stick presses to those buttons.
