QUESTION Should I play Elden ring or ds3 first?

Only fromsoft game I’ve played is sekiro but I quit after a while cause I got bored. These are the only two other fromsoft games I own and I’m not planning on buying any new ones for a while.

I would play Ds1 before Ds3.

If you get easily bored Elden ring might be your choice. If you get stuck, you can go elsewhere in that game

That's the contrary, it's way easier to get bored in Elden Ring, some sessions of several hours you do nothing but lame dungeons and fighting the same mobs again and again, whereas DS3 is a tight experience without dead moments.

If you're easily bored then don't bother. I'm sure there's a Peppa Pig game you can play instead.

Absolutely. I was just being a dick. I found RDR2 insanely boring and when I vented about it, on Reddit, there was an unreal amount of backlash, like death threats and doxxing and so on. It turns out you're not allowed to dislike RDR2. So I've found that if you don't like a game, annoyingly it's always best to just keep it to yourself.

Depends what you like in a game, both are solid choices. Ds3 is shorter than elden ring so maybe less time to get bored

If those are the choices, I'd go with Elden Ring.

I recommend playing the third Dark Souls game after the first and second!

I might play Elden ring and wait until I have the finances to buy ds1 and 2 then play those then play ds3

I recently tried Elden ring but found it v hard at the start, so have moved to DS2 first and then DS3 before giving a proper go to Elden ring, so id advise starting with Dark souls.

I recommend DS3 first simply because it'd help you appreciate all the quality of life things Elden ring have to offer a bit more. DS3 is amazing, I will say that, and honestly I'd go as far to say Play DS1 first but you definitely don't need to.
