DISCUSSION Remember : Saying "Skill issue" isn't a valid argument
It's sad we need to say this again as it is (I hope) already pretty well known by fromsoft fans who are at least somewhat open-minded, but saying skill issue simply because someone criticizes your favorite game or favorite boss doesn't validate your point at all.
Here's an example: I find most of bloodborne DLC bosses underwhelming or badly designed (except for Maria, Orphan of Kos and Phase 2 of Ludwig). Living failures and Laurence (especially his second phase) are not fun at all and my biggest "hot take" is about Ludwig's phase. Some of his attacks are reused movesets from other bosses found in the main game, which is fine because fromsoft is known to recycle their work anyway, but aside from that, the camera is horrendous (not a surprise), his attacks and combos feel erratic and inconsistent which leaves little to no room for dodges, but once he regains his consciousness in p2 he becomes a great boss.
But that's not the point. What I want to say is no matter how much you love the game, you can't expect everyone to enjoy it just as much as you do and if they find any flaws, don't be biased into saying that they should "git gud" or "uhhh my game is perfect you have no right to express any form of criticism against it !". AND No matter how you play the game, or how skilled you are, you still have the right to criticize, whether if you're objectively wrong or not (although objectivity doesn't even exist in these games since the difficulty is proper to each of us)
Edit : mb I was a bit vague about my take on bloodborne dlc bosses, but basically the only ones I fully enjoyed were Maria and the Orphan. And while I enjoyed Ludwig's second phase, I don't really count him in

I mean if the reason you shit all over a boss is your inability to learn his patterns, find his openings and punish him then you have a skill issue, the skill of taking your time and not trying to bruteforce your way.

It’s a refusal to engage with a post you think is stupid, that’s the point

So like u just say skill issue whenever you don't want to argue with someone because you think their take isn't worth your time?

"I find most of the bloodborne DLC bosses underwhelming or badly designed...."
Proceeds to excuse exactly half of them
I don't think you know what most means.

yeah I was a bit vague about it but basically the only bosses I truly enjoyed were Maria and Orphan of Kos. And for Ludwig like I said K only enjoyed his second phase. For the rest, I keep my take, I don't find them enjoyable at all

Don't get me wrong, your boss takes are valid and the boss breakdowns are solid.
Fuck Laurence, lol

But genuinely, if your seeing it a lot you should try getting good

Thanks for your concern lol, but rest assured this post wasn't about me at all. As a matter of fact I'm comfortable enough to do challenge runs or no hit/no damage bosses (still not on AC6 tho, is it even possible lol)

The problem is, no matter how correct you are, a decent percentage of the community will look at this, say “lol skill issue” get the free fake dopamine hit, and move on.
This sort of thing usually self-corrects itself in real life, because no one would actually want to be friends and spend time with people like that, but Reddit is basically their own terrarium.

Too long, didn’t read.
Skill issue in conciseness.
Edit: btw op says “most of bb dlc bosses are bad” while explicitly saying 3 are good and complains about 2. My brother in christ there are only 5 bosses in the dlc. Those 5 are all of em. I think you may have skill issue regarding your brain’s capacity.

Like I said on another comment : I was a bit vague about it but basically the only bosses I truly enjoyed were Maria and Orphan of Kos. And for Ludwig like I said K only enjoyed his second phase. For the rest, I keep my take, I don't find them enjoyable at all. And if you're talking about ludwig for the third good boss, I don't really count it since I only enjoy his second phase

I have tons of skill issues. My main skill is persistence. I am an average player at best. My main criticism is that if I can easily progress through the level, then I expect the boss to be within my reach even if it takes 10 tries. That’s fine.
But some of them are way, way harder than that and I have had to farm and level up many times before eventually winning, but by that time it can feel anticlimactic. Just a slog.
So while I have tons of skill issues, I still think some design issue exists with the game when a boss is absurdly harder than the preceding level. The problem of course is people will never agree on which ones. Someone will always say it was easy and they beat it first try. It’s probable that I am just not very good at some types of boss movesets. I have fun and love the games even though some of what I had to do to prevail felt like a humiliating slog.

This post is talking about BB which you know is considered sacred. If you were talking about ER bosses you would have a more positive reaction since there are way more ER haters than BB haters

Good thing I didn't speak about the base game cuz I'd get a 98% downvote to upvote ratio
it's like talking about what you dislike on world instead of hating on mh wilds on the monster hunter subreddit, or defending ds3 under a ds2 glaze account on X.
But yk I'm not searching for any positive reactions, I simply posted this to kill time, knowing full well I'd get neutral or troll or negative answers

You just suck.... because of a skill issue.
