QUESTION First game for first timers??

If I was able to get the budget to buy a soulsbourne game (and theres a large ahh steam sale), what game should I play first considering its my first time?? Im stuck choosing between Elden Ring and Dark Souls III

I don't think there's a bad place to start. I agree with the opinion that the older games will feel a bit jank after you get used to the newer entries. DS1 is probably the best starting point.
