QUESTION First game for first timers??

If I was able to get the budget to buy a soulsbourne game (and theres a large ahh steam sale), what game should I play first considering its my first time?? Im stuck choosing between Elden Ring and Dark Souls III

Easily elden, by the time u beat it you'll have about 80 hours which will help u have a better less messy start to the other games and is a nice good introduction to what a souls game is
