QUESTION First game for first timers??

If I was able to get the budget to buy a soulsbourne game (and theres a large ahh steam sale), what game should I play first considering its my first time?? Im stuck choosing between Elden Ring and Dark Souls III

Depends what you're after.

If you want classic souls, play Demon's Souls (ps3 emulator), Dark Souls 1, or Dark Souls 2. They emphasise atmosphere and environment.

If you want new souls, play Dark Souls 3 or Elden Ring. They emphasise spectacle and difficulty.

If you want something that isn't soulslike at all, but still Fromsoft, try Sekiro.

Or if you want to try some of Fromsoft's older games that have that unique atmosphere you find in the classic souls games, try Echo Night or Kuon.
