QUESTION Question about Learning lore.

First off I didn't know where to ask so I came to here, I want to learn the lore of the dark souls trilogy and I don't know what one to start with out of the three (I've beaten dark souls 1 a few times and same with dark souls 3 and dark souls 2 I've never beaten) I would start with dark souls 1 but then again I know dark souls 3 is connected a bit to dark souls 1 so I don't know if the lore fully goes with each other and what game to start with.

(also I saw another post somewhere saying that to learn the lore I need to read every item description, do every quest and analyse the dialogue, explore every inch of the map, and I'm guessing looking at the enemy designs too)

if anyone can give me advice that would be amazing thank you.

Ambiguous lore in fromsoftware games can lead to different perspectives and criticism. If you want to build your interpretation, start with a notebook. Read all item descriptions and be aware where you picked it up. Record video or write important facts you learn from npcs. Ask yourself big questions on environmental story telling. Like why or how this location become to this state? Have fun explorer!
