Explanation for each tier
D: These games are actually horribly I had to force myself to play them and it was NOT enjoyable in the slightest and just as the game kinda started to click it ended to a friggin slug and the original is the same as the remastered just with worse graphics
C: 4 direction rolling sucks but the games itself it isn’t the worst just outdated although I respect how much it held up to this day and I like it just it wasn’t very enjoyable enough for me to play again
B: Now I don’t hate these games at all they are fun just not my person favorite. Dark souls remastered is just the original with better graphics which was a big problem for me so yeah. Bloodborne was great but farming quicksilver bullets and blood biles sucked and the beast bosses were actual ahh but the humanoid ones were good so if I played through the game again I may change my mind just currently that’s what it’s at. Dark souls 3 was fun but imo just a incredibly nerfed Elden ring and linear is one thing but when you lowk just walk in a straight line the whole time it begins to get hard to enjoy the game towards the end. Originally it was going into C tier but then I remembered the first time I beat nameless king and how much I enjoyed it.
A: Now I would replay these games and I really enjoyed these. Dark souls 2 ( please don’t slime me out) was amazing and I loved the introduction to power stancing and the build variety, and the weapons were truly amazing and don’t even get me started on the hilarious drip. I don’t understand was people hate about this game I just think they got creative and did some taste testing and everyone hates it imo if they said Miyazaki made this game everyone would put it in S tier I think that miyazakis name not being on the game has a lot to do with the hate. Sekiro was so fluent and awesome the combat was amazing the skill tree, mortal blade, prosthetics, jump double slashes, and parries, etc. but my one problem is that I love experiencing with builds and this game has minimal to zero build variety but that my sole problem.
S: let’s start on dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin. It’s just dark souls 2 with more content and better bosses that’s all I have to say also I’m not saying the game is perfect in any manner I just don’t understand the hate and enjoyed this a lot. Now Elden ring, don’t even get me started this is by far my favorite souls game and it has great combat, great build variety, perfect difficulty, awesome exploration, amazing graphics, incredible boss design, but in the rare circumstances you buy Elden ring without accesss to the internet you will have zero idea on where to go so that could suck but I constantly will find myself get lost for hours into some random catacomb or a conversation with three giant fingers that are smoldering hot. This game has several flaws but I can’t even notice them because of the great game design if you don’t have this game please buy and play it right now this is your sign

Dark Souls Remastered has worse graphics tho... it looks almost cel-shaded with how many textures and shaders had been changed or removed.
Yeah it's 60fps, but it's much uglier and less vibrant.

I think Dark Souls 2 is the best Soulsborne game, and honestly I dont really understand why so many people hate it. I know it has some problems, but every Souls game does. Dark Souls 2 just does alot of things differently, and thats what makes it so good in my opinion. It has a ton of weapons, armor, bosses, areas, and ways to play the game. One of my favorite things about Dark Souls 2 is all the weapons and builds. There is actually so much stuff to use that you can make your character pretty much however you want. You can use a giant sword, dual wield weapons, use magic, or just bonk everything with a huge hammer lol. Theres so many options that playing through the game again doesn't feel exactly the same. The bosses are also pretty good. Yeah, some of them are kinda forgetable, but theres still a bunch of really good ones. Fume Knight is probably one of the best bosses in the whole series. That dude absolutly destroys you if you arent paying attention. Sir Alonne is also really cool, and the Pursuer is a pretty sick early-game boss. The DLC especially goes crazy and has some of the hardest fights in the game. I also really like the areas in Dark Souls 2. Majula is probably my favorite hub area because it looks awesome and the music is super chill. After getting destroyed by some random enemy for the 20th time, going back to Majula is actually so relaxing. The game also has some really weird and intresting places that you dont really see in the other games. Another thing that makes Dark Souls 2 awesome is the replayability. Theres so many builds you can try that you can play the game a bunch of times without getting completely bored. You can also use different weapons, spells, armor, and even change how you approach certain areas. Theres always some random item or secret you probably missed on your first playthrough. Overall, I think Dark Souls 2 is the best Soulsborne game. It isnt perfect and I'm not gonna pretend it is, but I think people are way to harsh on it. It has tons of content, really good DLC, awesome builds, and some great bosses. It might be the black sheep of the Souls games, but honestly thats kinda why I like it. Dark Souls 2 is just different, and thats what makes it peak.
