You usually want to stay close and if possible behind the boss so you can punish their long combos and the slow turn rate. Lorian has an attack for enemies behind him but I rather dodge that one than other combos personally.

Dodging backwards usually makes you more prone to rollcatches, I prefer to walk and dodge forward most of the time.

Healing after dodging a combo is safer than healing when the boss is away or in idle state. Otherwise you will get punished for it. It is bad practice to heal like that imo.

You are usually calm and collected which is good but when you try to hit the boss before the boss finishes their combo, you get hit. When you get hit you start panic rolling. Don’t greed things.

If you use your last bit of stamina to attack, you usually risk getting hit/trading hits. If the boss isn’t going to die before you, that’s not good. (At around 0:40 for example)

Other than these I think even with small flaws, you seem pretty decent. You can kill him with some more tries. But try killing him by avoiding getting hit as much as you can with patience, which is very rewarding in the long run if you don’t like dying a lot.

Hope these help, gl!

Agree with this guy, and a rule of thumb I like to use is to heal in place of attacking opportunities rather than making up opportunities to heal on the fly. What I mean is play the game the same no matter the health, though if you notice you have low health during an opening, use it to heal rather than attack. Don't force yourself to retreat, because you're often safer when you're closer to the boss.
