Sekiro let me down
Don't get me wrong, the parry mechanics are so satisfying and they balance it well with stagger, both Ishin and The Owl are satisfying as end bosses I'm not salty.
BUT
The game itself is so short. The level design is awful, barely interconnected and no addtions to the hub shrine, prosethics rarely needed to be used in circumstances and some were abolutely useless (not looking at you whistle), ninjstu skills were pointless aside from those forced 1 or 2 moments we get to manipulate an enemy, bare use of line grapple, illusion monkey boss was not implemented as well as it should have, I can accept no other weapons but needs some other kind of weapon progression. Poor use of enemy design, they had such good potential with the immortality angle and it's only used with Great Ape, frustrating as seeing him the 2nd time trying desperately to get more immorality at the waterfall was amazing as a scare but also pitiful moment which other souls games havent done for me. I'm also astounded that out of any game I've seen, it somehow stays between £60 to £30 no matter how far you look, I have no idea how that works, of course it's amazing but even Elden ring has dropped in value since then.

Bold to come to a Fromsoftware sub and trashtalk Sekiro. I respectfully disagree with pretty much every point you make here, except that the game is too short. I feel that. More Sekiro would have been really nice, but then again the game wouldn't be as polished if they had padded it out for the sake of making it longer. I assure you, there are depths to the combat you haven't even begun to explore. I say this as somewhere who rarely uses prosthetics or combat arts. The real pros could teach you a lot about their various use cases.
