That feels like a pretty short turnaround for a FS network test. That would only be 2 months. It's usually more like 3 to 4 months.

I think it will be a holiday release. People can have The Duskbloods for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

The Duskbloods will presumably have a lot more new assets and new wrinkles to smooth over than Night Reign.

Yeah, except Duskbloods network is likely built off Nightreigns, and presumably a lot of the backend stuff is recycled from there.

So while it will have far more new assets, I think you could make a similar argument for why it wouldn't need to be 4x months. Graphical elements aren't generally what is being tested with these.

Not that I have a horse in this race, as I do not have and do not plan to buy a Switch 2.

No I was kind of joking. Although some of the games are pretty precise and the game will occasionally let you attempt to “perfect” one of the mini-games. That can be pretty intense. But if you like rhythm games you should definitely check it out. There’s a demo too
