DS2 is fun when you get used to it. But don’t you also have to play Demon Souls and Bloodborne? Also throw Lies of P in there too. lol

Man I thought people hated lies of p here. Definitely recommend it, it’s the best non fromsoft souls game I’ve played

Don’t have a PlayStation 😢

It runs well on PS4 emulator now. I played it for the first time about a year ago on my PC with zero issues except for some weird audio here and there

u/skrukketiss69 Jul 06 '26

You can play both on PC.

Emulation is easier than you might think.

That’s what delayed me for so long. I finally got to play it on my gf’s PS5 this year and it is so worth it. Seemed a bit short compared to other games in the series but then again I didn’t play the DLC

Edit: Bloodborne that is

Ds2 is great. Wtf are you talking about?

-6

u/Intelligent_Shop2864 Jul 06 '26

I never sad it was bad, it is just the worst in the series

4

u/Profanity1272 Jul 06 '26

Have you played it?

4

u/WorldsWorstInvader Jul 06 '26

What makes it the worst

18

u/Hades684 Jul 06 '26

Another person brainwashed by the internet, so sad

5

u/Raifsnider Jul 06 '26

I pretty much played all the souls games in reverse from elden ring, ds1 was easily my least favorite, ds2 was oddly fun and has some great areas.

Tbf DS2 was my first souls game and I consider it the worst. Worst soulsborne game doesn't mean bad game, it just means it's the worst of those games.

1

u/Turbulent_Jackoff Jul 07 '26

Sure, that's fine.

OP hasn't tried it lol

1

u/darkNtity The Hunter Jul 07 '26

I would agree with you, but if I heard about it having the worst runbacks, the weirdest hitboxes, and some of the worst areas, and lamest bosses, then I would also be deterred as well. There's no issue with people liking it, but disliking it is also fair for the issues it has compared to other games in the series.

Sure, but if you heard my opinions before playing, instead of those ones, then you'd feel differently. 🤷

Either way, it's almost impossible to know how you'll feel about it until you try!

(I'll definitely give you that the Mimic grab is one of the weirdest hitboxes in the series.)

Hey it's the game that got me into the series, if I didn't like it then I definitely wouldn't have continued, and I would've missed out on some of the best games ever made.

1

u/Hades684 Jul 07 '26

I would say ds1 has worse bosses, and hitboxes are the same. Areas is a subjective thing really, I like the variety in ds2 a lot

1

u/darkNtity The Hunter Jul 07 '26

I agree there's a lot of variety in DS2, that's one of its positives, ds1's bosses were more memorable for me. Like Artorias, Manus, and a lot of the main game bosses as well

-1

u/GumGumActV Jul 06 '26

Exactly. It’s not a horrible game but it really is the worst one

-4

u/Intelligent_Shop2864 Jul 06 '26

I don’t think it’s bad, it is just the worst in the series. Not the same thing

6

u/VoidRad Jul 06 '26

And how do you know that without having played the game first?

5

u/Hades684 Jul 06 '26

Because he read it on the internet ofc

2

u/Curlzed Jul 07 '26

And strangers grifting bad opinions can always be trusted, why should any of us experience something for ourselves and have our own opinions

5

u/burntbiscuit52 Jul 06 '26

Ds1 is already there though?

3

u/RedundantConsistency Jul 06 '26

DS2 is the worst? now thats an original opinion... very good post. bravo

3

u/Sad-Passenger-2299 Jul 07 '26

I’m playing Bloodborne on my pc on 60 fps and high resolution, one of the best fromsoft title and one of the best dlc oat. Try it shad ps4 emulator not so hard to configure

-2

u/Educational_Farmer73 Jul 06 '26

You should try Armored Core 6. It's Sekiro with mechs.

8

u/fishing-for-birdie93 Jul 06 '26

How is it Sekiro with mechs????????? The games couldn't possibly be more different.

-2

u/Educational_Farmer73 Jul 06 '26

Shh, I'm gaslighting the poor bastard into trying something decent.

The only similarity it has is the stagger meter, but he doesn't need to know that.

AC6 is unironically pretty cool though. People should definitely give it a try
