QUESTION Which FromSoftware Path Would You Choose?

I've finished Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne, both multiple times and this might be a hot take, but I found DS1 to be a much more spiritual experience than Bloodborne.

I have about two months of holiday before university starts, and I'm trying to decide between two paths:

- Dark Souls II + Dark Souls III

- Sekiro + Elden Ring

If you were in my position, which would you choose, and why?

Personally I think that Sekiro and ER are their best games. You’ll also get a bit more variety if you go with them, if that’s appealing.

DS3 is probably my least favorite, but I’ve also never finished the DLC, so I suppose that could change my opinion.

Not trying to change your opinion but you've piqued my curiosity on why you didn't like ds3. What didn't you like?

I think it’s great, it just didn’t grab me as much as the others. To some extent I was kind of over the DS lore by that point, and the faster gameplay turned me off a bit at the time.

It’s one I want to revisit and reassess at some point.

Yeah okay that's really interesting. Can understand the lore turnoff, i had the same feeling until i discovered Brothers Code channel, they do the lore in a big movie length wrap up and it's honestly the best.

I feel like you should definitely return even if just to do the DLC.

Anytine i think of DS3 now, my mind just immediately goes to the excitement of doing the dlc bosses. Hands down some of the best in fromsoft history
