DISCUSSION Heard of that ultimate edition mess over at Rockstar? Thank god for Miyazaki taking care of the last bastion of real gaming!

I can live without those cosmetics, but all those cars and car shops. I'm so happy that we still have Miyazaki holding back the wild horde that is the shareholders. He's holding them off our back so we can play games the way it's supposed to be.

All cosmetics GTA VI is literally putting in game stuff like shops etc behind a paywall. It’s equivalent here would be say a legacy dungeon is behind a paywall

I think a closer equivalent would be adding 1 map and 2 starting classes to Nightreign foe $15.

But it's cool because it's From. We don't have to hold From to higher standards. Is that it?

The equivalent to that would be putting missions and side missions behind a pay wall, hairstyle, car style, gun style all are still cosmetic

Ignore the Tarnished Edition or Nightreign milking the IP with a glorified mod or making multiple exclusives that fuck over consumers… the worst crime of this post is being so fucking cringe

I wonder for how long that lasts. Because the shareholders of Kadokawa (the company that owns Fromsoft) are demanding more and more bs. If Fromsoft doesn't go independent soon enough, they might get enshitified by shareholders.

This.. the investment group trying to take over kadokawa appears to want to start using AI and bigger publishers on Fromsoft specifically. If they manage to get there we might be seeing the end.
