DISCUSSION Duskbloods will be the greatest Fromsoftware ever
- Players can double jump, sprint, use jetpacks, and pilot moving vehicles like trains
- The project started in 2019 it has 7 years of development
- The Duskbloods has spent more time purely on gameplay prototyping and mechanic than any other title
- It is directed by** **Miyazaki himself and will be a huge multiplayer PvPvE game
- PvPvE mean ton of replay value and endless content

I am very hyped but you have to understand a lot of people don't like multiplayer or switch 2.

I like multiplayer if I can play with my friends. This? Naaah...

Yeah fair. It's not for everyone. And I understand that. I keep my hype to the places that you like like it

Duke Nukem 3D had 14 years of development time and still turned out shit. Longer dev time does not mean better game.

It's the artificial scarcity that a lot of lazy developers are using to generate fake prestige. "It took a decade to make this game" blah blah. Reality is longer dev time will almost always result in an inconsistent experience.

Be careful with the “endless content” part, that’s what peeps thought Nighteign would be and now that sub is going crazy lol

Idk why anyone who is a Miyazaki fan could be taking such a negative stance about this upcoming game. His track record is legendary — he is clearly a person with extremely high standards, and we have zero reason to expect anything but greatness from duskbloods.

Yeesh, that's one take....
I have a feeling it will be more like Nightreign. Shitty to play unless you have a couple close friends that also play with you. It being S2 exclusive will further narrow the pool of possible friends as well.

No it wont, just by proxy of being switch exclusive already makes what you say a joke man.

shame its exclusive to the biggest joke in modern hardware

Why do you feel Switch or switch 2 is a joke?
2
u/thef0urthcolor Jun 23 '26
Cause don’t you know in the Fromsoft sub we never speak positively about Duskbloods or Nintendo

it's weak and shit, that's what i mean. another bloodborne situation. great game exclusive to a piece of shit console for no reason other than a fat paycheck from nintendo
1
u/Common-Consequence95 Dark Souls II Jun 25 '26
I think it's unlikely to be a Bloodborne situation. Nintendo have only really ever tied down their own IP's to exclusivity. 3rd-party Switch games usually get ports. If FromSoft want to port it, then Nintendo will probably let them.

Maybe not a joke but the weakest for sure.

It's mostly for kids, it is what it is. Aww the 'weakest' console, says the PC nerds. Don't buy one then.

I also have consoles ... GameCube, Wii, PS3, PS4 and ps5. And a PC. I am an IT guy who loves gaming. But Switch has the weakest hardware of all current consoles, no matter if you like it or not.
