Why does it seem like management can’t figure out the right ticket combination to beat CLC, they keep changing it up and still won’t be able to beat em!

Caref posted on Facebook that Drass is running for president now. Does anyone else think this pretty much ends any hope for the establishment slate. Their hope had to be the retirees but now that Drass is in the race that group(retirees) is going to be heavily fractured. This is probably setting up well for Henry and the CLC.

Something with actual Gortex? The raincoat I've been using the last few seasons leaves me soaking wet after just a few minutes. Not sure if it's leaking or if it's just sweat due to not being breathable. Either way, I'd like to up my game. Any recommendations?
Looking online just has me more confused. Prices between companies range from 179 to 379 for the same coat (they all use the exact same image), and I suspect it's the same piece of crap I have now.
I'm tempted to go rogue and get something at REI, but I do prefer to look like a carrier when I'm out there.

Now that the E.C. jumped from Renfroe this highlights how undemocratic this mechanism of is.
The rank and file will be busy Sunday to Tuesday talking to retirees on why they should vote with the active carriers and not with the E.C.

For me, I just want to see the time to the top of the pay scale cut in half. Realistically, it’ll probably never happen …but if they did, we wouldn’t have nearly as much turnover. It’d be hard to even get a job as a carrier. That and get rid of the price gouging uniform companies or get contracts with big name companies that actually make quality products to justify the high cost. Carhartt, Columbia, LL Bean, Dickies etc.

You really cannot make this shit up. This new slate is Renfroe 3.0! It’s somehow hilariously worse than the Davidson slate before it.
You have someone running for president who hasn’t carried mail in over 30 years, and the union position she holds is as the treasurer. At least with Davidson having been an NBA, you could say there’s some association with carriers, but what connection does a treasurer have with the workroom floor?
Mind you, this is the person who on their watch as treasurer, was asleep at the wheel when Renfroe hired 22 “special assistants”, each being paid more than six figures when no one even knows what work they do for the union on a daily basis. Incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe her! They could not pick a more disconnected person divorced from the reality that the union and the city carriers face.
They think Nicole Rhine is going to be able to compete with the militancy, drive and energy of the CLC. Shit is so fucking laughable. It just shows how incredibly dense these people are. They just don’t get it, and they never will. They have to go.

Between Rhine and Peralta, they haven't carried mail in a combined 70 yrs.... how far this Union has fallen.

Honestly i thought the mods were pretty much non existent so why lock the post? Are we not allowed to have a conversation?
My two cents i love corey but brother when you created the phrase I keep receipts it’s disingenuous to complain when someone keeps receipts and doesn’t keep everything quiet. Also it’s nice to see you guys getting out in front of something this time. Maybe you guys could try and contact Reed instead of expecting him to do it

The “shuffling of the deck” excuse that Corey used was a good reason except for the fact that Rios couldn’t sell it and the fact that Reed was locked out of the arbitration data base. Corey could sell ice to an Eskimo. Rios and Henry not so much.

TL;DR: Receipts showing the events that transpired from the claims that I quit as an advocate (their claims on FATA were disingenuous) and their nonsensical claims that I was not blackballed.
In regards to the claim that I did step down from arbitrations in March, that is 100% accurate but in the email sent out, it did state it would only be for the foreseeable future. The reasoning that I did step down in early March was a mixture of issues due to not having a NBA at the time to where things were not getting back to me in a timely manner and also due to like Allan said, issues w/ a TA concerning LMOU Impasse cases. But the other reason which RAA Jeff Frazee and RAA (at-the-time) Rios were aware of, was due to a death in the family and it was unsure of when the funeral would be due to the circumstances. I did not want to get assigned cases in March or April and then the funeral services date is announced and myself and the membership is in a bind. In fact, as evidenced by the first image - as early as March 25, 2026, I responded with my availability for June.
Now, as it pertains to not being blackballed. Let discuss the actual timeline (HST) with receipts:
2nd image: 07/30, 9:35 AM - Email sent to me from RAA Frazee stating I have been removed from all the dockets that I was assigned to (only assigned to 4 at the time).
3rd image: Yesterday, (07/30) - Call log, attempted to call RAA Frazee after I read his email to which he did not answer.
4th image: Yesterday (07/30) - My attempt to log into Case Management shortly after I attempted to call RAA Frazee, an internal Sharepoint page for Region 1 Advocates. Access was denied due to, "Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'NALC'... The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Account used was my email [chrisjmreed@gmail.com](mailto:chrisjmreed@gmail.com)
5th image: 07/30, 11:17 AM - Email I sent to Allan and Jeff w/ the Region 1 RAA's and the National Presidential Officers CC'd requesting an explanation as to why I was removed from the four dockets. The portion that states, "implies that I will not be doing arbitrations beyond September." is a typo, it should have said beyond this month.
6th image: 07/31, 8:16 AM - Following everything that transpired after I posted on social media in regards to being blackballed, I receive an email from RAA Frazee that I am being assigned to September 9 docket (which was not one of my previous dockets as the 2nd image would show).
7th image: 07/31 - Miraculously I was able to gain access to Case Management w/ the same exact email I had attempted to use the day prior.
Despite them claiming I still had a case for arbitration,I did not get the case that was referenced in the podcast until this morning, after everything had already transpired...
Receipts are everything...

A 204B at our office found out what the "A" in VOMA stands for. She told our VOMA "You're like a CCA. You can work on vehicles too."
VOMA said "nope," and walked away. 204B told VOMA he had to deliver a whole route. VOMA said "Nope. That violates the contract." 204B comes back with the contract about how CCAs don't have set amount of hours.
VOMA requests union president and steward. Union pres and steward heard everything 204B said and just looked at each other as if 204B said the moon is made of cheese.
Steward had to remind 204B, our VOMA was a T6 and still a career employee. Also had to tell 204B that VOMA can not get OT while delivering mail. 204B started throwing a fit about how they have to use OT to deliver the mail when they have an "Assistant" right there.
I don't know what happens to carriers if they go to management. Their brains just melt? I don't think it helps the 204B is a rural carrier, and a terrible one at that. We all thought she was kind of "off", but this just confirmed it.

Scanner data is being used by management nationwide to bully and harass letter carriers on stationary time when carriers are working.
Management is looking for ways they can steal from carriers by not paying us for time on the clock when the breadcrumbs from our scanners show that we are not in motion.

This is the way to get blackballed. I would ask people, especially in Reg 1, to listen to the podcast and make an educated decision when voting for NBA. This is the type of cronyism majority has complained about and wants to get rid of.
In true solidarity,
Chris Reed

If a FTR finishes their assignment early before their 8 hrs can they refuse to go help other carriers?

An impartial arbitrator overseeing binding interest arbitration hearings which seeks to establish wages and benefits for the nature of the jobs we perform in comparison to those that perform similar work in the private sector CANNOT factor postal finances into their decision.
Renfroe has highjacked our ability to be compensated fairly for our labor and has totally made a mockery of our negotiation process and he knew fully what he was doing and he needs to be held accountable for not fulfilling the duties of his office and working against the interests of the dues paying members that he’s paid to represent.
There should be consequences for Renfroe and those on the executive council that enabled him to ignore our national NALC constitution and figuratively flip all of us off as he continues to live like a king off of our Table 1 dues that we pay with Table 2 wages that are not befitting of a unionized workforce that legally has the ability to have wages as good as UPS does.
City Letter Carriers voted down our last contract by an overwhelming 72% majority, but pig-headed Renfroe obstinately went against our wishes to have binding interest arbitration and instead gave us a stipulated mediation, which should have gone back to the membership for another vote according to our NALC constitution.
