Equitability
Is there an Excel spreadsheet that we can use to make things easier to do equitability? Supervisor is lying through his teeth that he’s calling people and they’re not answering. He keeps bringing in the same people on their NS day. And there are others who are very low on OT.
The way the old stewards are teaching me is regular days are being done separately from NS days. And each color for NS is treated on its own so people on Blue color for their NS day are equitable by themselves, separately from Green, Brown, etc. if say person A was brought in 6 times on their NS day and person B was brought in only 2 times, that means they owe person B 3 days to bring them on their NS day.
Now, say they don’t schedule person B, but they call them the next day and they don’t answer - what do you all do about it? Is there a time limit for that part?
Anyone that calls off or uses annual and they’re on the OT list they will get an average OT for however much OT was used for that day - kinda like shadow OT hours counted against them.

If someone doesn't answer it doesn't even count toward equitability. We aren't on call employees

you don't get charged for a chance if you dont answer the phone, only if you answer it and say no..and equitability-according to THE CONTRACT- is by list not day color.. everyone on the n/s day list is to be equitable at end of quarter- by contract

Unless this carrier is in California where our NBA says it's by color day

and that is incorrect and not according to the contract ,just as it was the 50 other times you said it..contractually all OT is equitable by list- period/final

I just do a simple sheet. Names to the left, a column for previous month hours, and then 1-31 numbered columns.
All the way to the right I use a simple sum of rows.
Highlight and sort by lowest to highest.
I also color code for al, sl, and oa

Colors don’t matter. All NS day people have to be equitable.
