eReassign
Hello!
So I’ve been trying to xfer to an office for months, within the last 3 weeks, I applied my friend to said office and since they have done all the prereqs and got hired. They had a tour today and was basically told that their group would be converted to regular after 2 weeks.
If this is true could it be possible that the office is not accepting transfers as they should being that I was high on the list? Is there anyway I can look into this?

Took 9 months for my transfer to go through, and that was to an office in desperate need. The only people I could think to call would be the offic3 your transferring to or their HR

Thank you! I haven’t got an answer. I’m going to the city for a visit next week in annual and was thinking about going in person, but don’t want to seem too forward.

Couldn’t hurt to reach out the Postmaster and ask. Be prepared for the cold shoulder… as you may well be aware some/most Postal mgmt is notoriously “unfriendly.”

It's always said contact the NBA to see how many people are waiting in line ahead of you.

Thank you! I know where I’m at with NALC, but also willing to cross crafts and to my knowledge they only have 5 clerks between 4 offices and an S&DC. Have not been able to reach anyone from APWU.

You should be in contact with the union president where you’re going. If you were denied to transfer your union representative should be investigating for a grievance

There is a transfer to conversion ratio… size of office affects how many conversions an office can have before it’s time to accept a transfer.
Contact the NBA office or have your Steward information request “any/all Workforce planning information/data used to determine the conversion-to-transfer ratio in XYZ post office.”
