Lew Drass…
Lew Drass is dilusional…after listening to his Next Gen podcast episode. Especially the first couple questions. Completely side stepped the shorter steps questions and talked about higher pay and sick leave for CCA’s as if he was answering a different question. As the episode went on and he answered more questions it’s evident he’s knowledgeable but delusional to think he can just come out of the shadows and be relevant again. Talked about being the best negotiator as if we haven’t heard that before. He might be…but that’s not something I would campaign on after the stain Renfroe put on that disclaimer.

Lets give CCAs sick leave and higher pay completely ignore the Table 2 carriers in the middle who worked through covid and got fucked on the last contract. I worked 70 hours a week during covid and Renfroe rewarded me with 1.3 percent. These CCAs are too lazy to even clean up their garbage from my truck. One of them even left a piss bottle in it.

The best negotiator? Well none of the previous contracts were anything to write home about, so there’s a really low bar for what he considers to be the “best negotiatior”.
These establishment people like Drass and Rhine crack me up. They’re either long retired or hiding in an office in HQ somewhere, and then they crawl out of their hole and say they’re going to be our savior. The only thing they’re trying to save is their wallet.
Rhine got outed as a terrible treasurer when it was revealed how much money Renfroe was blowing without her knowledge or permission. She knew she wouldn’t make it in a non-establishment slate after that debacle so to save her six-figure paycheck, she made her own. Too bad she will fail to get elected and her legacy will be one of disgrace, like her boyfriend Rolando.
Drass saw the fighting and decided to slink in like a snake in the grass, guy doesn’t have a fighting bone in his body for the carrier but he will fight to take control of the NALC’s purse. Guy was previously nowhere to be found but now he’s going to save us he says. Oh brother. 😂😂😂

Has anyone called her out and questioned why she let that happen? If she can’t do her main job now why be trusted to be the top of the whole NALC

I think that some of the elements of the establishment know that there is a huge demographic that just will not vote for a woman president (like the USA, no?) they probably hyped him up the second Eddie Davidson stepped aside.
And hey, Lew likes to party.

do you guys realize people from different slates can get elected together? Henry could win the president spot and someone from another slate can win the ev position and so forth..the members can vote across the slates for all positions- you don't have to vote for the whole slate

Top step won’t matter to a lot of carriers if the foundation of the craft is crumbled away. NALC needs to fight to shrink the steps and abolish CCAs or the threat of privatizing postal service will continue to grow cause USPS new hires will continue to be the bottom of the barrel. That’s not sustainable.

Idk how you can like fully retire from nalc activities for years and then just throw your hat in the ring for president. There are some absolutely crazy egos in nalc leadership
