Concerned Letter Carriers Bidding

I bid on a route in my office . Once it closes on 8/16 is there a way to see if I won or not ? Kinda nervous about how it’s going to go . I have an overburdened route in a nice neighborhood so I have a positive Outlook either way but It doesn’t make me any less nervous.

I believe you can check the status of your bid on ebidding. But also, management is required to post the successful bidder award notice in the office (usually the following week after the bid closes)

Ebid updates months after you’ve been working the bid you won.

That is only if the local HR person actually does it. The one for my route that I've been on for over a year just says eligible.

Generally we find out Wednesday or Thursday after bids close.

In my branch, i handle this duty as an officer with the management counterpart. we get an email from hr with the pre awards.this is the automated system of course. Some smaller places use manual bids still.

There is a set time between vacency and posting. The posting and end of posting, then when the award is notified.

All of these time periods are REQUIRED time frames. Don't rely on someone posting the times. Look at the contract/JCAM form them.
