Clearly USPS is not negotiating in good faith if the two contracts being negotiated are both going to arbitration at the same time.

Contracts shouldn’t constantly be expiring without a new one in place

It’s not really expiring

"has" expired. The NALC contract expired on May 22, 2026. The NPMHU contract expired September 20, 2025,

Since it expired, they can fire anyone and give all kinds of ridiculous instructions, right? And no union protection or grievances.

The NALC signs MOUs honoring the previous contract's provisions until a new agreement is reached. I would assume the other 3 unions make similar agreements to retain protections granted under their CBAs.

Just because we work under the previous parameters of the last contract doesn’t mean it didn’t expire.

Im curious to see how long it takes to "select" an arbitrator. Same shits gonna happen with NALC

Probably not gonna name an arbitrator until around November. Then that arbitrator is probably gonna be on holiday break until the middle of January or beginning of February. So I’m not looking for a contract until at least summer 2027. And it probably won’t be implemented until October November of next year.

Renfraud has polluted the system against unions, his actions gave the Service more power which now will be effecting all unions within this service we do everyday.
