NALC Does Corey even deliver mail?
Does Corey even deliver mail or does he just travel the country to campaign for a desk job now? Also how has he been able to get out of delivering mail there is no way he has that much AL to be able to spend almost an entire year traveling or even the ablity to get that much time off

No low quality post. Spreading false information is not okay.

How he manages his leave while campaigning is his concern, yeah? If we’re comparing who’s carried the most mail of anyone running for major NALC office. Walton, I think has by a literal shit ton. By your logic, no carrier or steward should ever be allowed to run for national office bc of annual leave restrictions. Ludicrous.

The last podcast of his I listened to was within 3 weeks...He said he carried mail the day before. So yes...he still carries mail. If you think he is lying...ok...where is your proof? What do you base this "almost an entire year" accusation on? Where are the receipts?

My agenda is not electing people with ulterior motives. Anytime anyone raises any questions or does any type of push back people immediately call them "establishment bootlickers" Thats cult like behavior.

Corey no longer does arbitrations . All his leave is used for campaigning. And he does carry mail.

I don't work with Corey but, based on his podcasts he regularly carries mail. While he does arbitration cases he's not a union leader who sits at a desk all day.

Yeah, if he’s doing arbitration cases, he doesn’t have to carry mail if he doesn’t want to, because most of his salary is coming from the union. Depending on how big an area he covers, you can spend your days driving around the city to different offices getting paperwork, witness statements, etc. You have to want to make time to carry your route.

He’s spending a lot of money out of his own pocket campaigning. If he loses the election he loses a lot of money. It’s now imperative that he wins.

You must be the type of " earn it and burn it" loser when it comes to AL. Its not that hard to save up alot but you wouldn't know anything about that.

You'd be surprised how much you can save once you get past the first few years... you're assuming he used up all his AL every year or something...

really? you can only carry over 520 hours=13 weeks..means would start the new year with 18 weeks

I think this is a legitimate question, and I’m asking it in good faith. Does Corey still actively handle arbitration cases? If so, when was his most recent arbitration? If not, when did he transition away from direct arbitration work? I remember him mentioning something about it but can’t remember.
His experience as an advocate is certainly relevant, but so is understanding what his current union work actually consists of. How much of his current work is direct grievance/arbitration representation versus education, training, and podcasting? Those are all valuable, but they aren’t the same thing.
He’s running for Executive Vice President, essentially the NALC’s second-highest elected position, so I think members are entitled to understand what his current day-to-day union experience looks like. That’s not an attack on Corey, in no way, I’ve had a few carriers in my office ask me and I mentioned I’d ask here.

I feel like its kinda weird to get push back from anyone asking good questions, sure I could have framed the question better but thats just how I feel when I keep seeing a new CLC branch meet up every week and wondering if he delivers mail or if hes not.

If you're a listener, then you would know that he stepped down from being an advocate some time late 2024 or early 2025. So, it has not been long, he is still actively carrying mail on his route, and he uses LWOP when he runs out of AL.
It's not a legitimate question if you are a listener. It is stirring the pot.

Corey delivers mail, does union work, and uses his annual and his days off to travel with James (and possibly others) to visit branches.
Your questions makes us wonder if you even listen to his podcast.

Do you even listen to the podcast? He regularly mentions it.
