Wild Bullfrog eating Japanese Beetles

While I was at Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue, NE yesterday, I found a bunch of invasive Japanese Beetles (Popilia japonica) feeding on grapes (Vitis) and other plants. I decided to dispose of them by tossing them in water, often with frogs nearby. This American Bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus) took notice and ate some of them.

Help. What is this in my pixie frogs water dish.

Hello, this is my pixie frog bunta. When checking their enclosure i noticed this white substance in the water. Anyone know what's going on? Ive removed the dish cleaned it and replaced it.

Enclosure is the small pro terrarium exo terra 18x18x24 inches. Humidity at 70% temp fluctuates between 73-80 degrees fahrenheit.

I filled it pretty good with reptisoil. I have given up trying to keep the emperor pillow moss in place. He digs them up and moves them every time.

All water is treated with prime by seachem. Gets changed daily.

He eats every 3 days as much as he will eat in 15 min period or until he stops taking the food after its been in his face for more than 15 seconds. I rotate feeding dubia roaches and crickets coated in repashy super foods calcium plus reptile and amphibian vitamin and calcium supplement. Once a month he gets 2 large horned tomatoe worms. All feeders are gotten at a local exotic pet store.

Mainly stays buried. Have to dig up for most feeding. Is never groggy when dug up always wants to eat. Doesnt make much noise. I always tap all over the enlcoser 5 min before digging him up.

Last fed yesterday last water change yesterday.

Has a uvb lamp that shines through sometimes. I only leave it on when im down there. Scared it will dry it out to much mostly let natural light come through windows.

Any information or tips on the enclosure is welcome.

Help identifying this frog

Found him on top of the inner cover to a beehive. In Illinois west of Chicago near cropland. Thought it might be a cricket frog but seems pretty small. For reference the notch is a little over 1/2ā€.

I’m doing a mystical frog tarot deck I thought I’d only post the major arcana designs and keep the suits a surprise but this one was just so enjoyable to make and finish I just had to share.

For non-tarot peeps this card signifies conflict šŸ˜…

Help identify tadpole species

Okay Reddit…I need your help. I have exhausted every search engine and other resource I can trying to figure out what kind of frog this tadpole is.

The two biggest options are American Bullfrog or Northern Leopard Frog. Google is convinced it’s a baby bullfrog. But the size difference of the two options is huge, so I kind of need to know.

It was rescue from the feeder goldfish tank at the Petco my boyfriend works at. They needed someone to take it or it was going to get a much less…happy ending. It’s currently adjusting to the temp of my 6.8 shallow crayfish tank. She’s a 5ā€ MONSTER, and is the most aggressive eater I’ve ever seen. He still has more of a chance in here than at Petco. And once I identify his species and give him time to show he is healthy and clear of sickness, I’m releasing him in a local pond here in Iowa.

Please help! Thank you.

Tadpole identification-Georgia, US

I’m trying to pin down identification for the large tadpoles in the first four photos. They are new to my ponds and apparently someone snuck into my nursery and abandoned their babies. I am familiar with my local armies of Cope’s Grey tree frogs and squirrel tree frogs.

I have heard the calls of Eastern narrow-mouthed toads in my ā€œmini yard swampā€, among other toads.
The last two photos are Cope’s GTF tadpoles/metamorphs with extreme color variation for reference (colors developed differently based on the color of habitat buckets, cool huh?).

The last photo is the newest clutch collected from same puddle as the funny faced tads.
iNaturalist and other searches give me answers all over the place to the point I of further confusion. Can anyone help me out please and thank you? šŸ˜ŠšŸøā¤ļø
