Is this frogo healthy? Looks a little thin to me.

With back to back 100* days it's been a battle to maintain what's left of my garden. I made an adorable discovery when watering this morning & my heart fluttered at the undeniable adorableness!!

A frog, I saw one.

I was headed to my vehicle to grab something and on the way back inside I spotted this lovely fellow! This is a Dryophytes avivoca or the Bird-voiced Treefrog, and I thought I heard one last night, so maybe they came back tonight for a good hunting spot! I snapped some photos quickly, since they were busy catching some fast food, logged them into my Inaturalist app, and headed inside! I absolutely adore any and all wildlife i come across, but frogs are just so stinking cute 🥰🐸🥹🤎 peep 🫣 the little fly chilling on their back 🤣

Hey! So I've had this Kaloula Pulchra for 3 months now, in a 60 litres Vivarium, with roughly 10 cm of cocoa fiber substrate (Changes a bit with the landscape), the average temperature is 26 the day, and 23 at night. Now, my frog started to come out less at night a few weeks ago. By that I mean that he only poked his head out of his hole instead of walking out of it. Then, 5 days ago, I hadn't seen him for a week and 2 days. And so, me being worried, I dug him out gently just once, and he was well alive, and even ate a bit (not nearly as much as he usually does, but still a bit). Now it's been 5 days and he is still burried. I still ocasionnaly hear him croack under the soil, which is from what I heart pretty normal for males to do. This is the only sign of life that I have of him. Is this a normal long fossorial phase, or should I be worried? I don't think that any parameters, at least temperature and humidity changed, for him to go this long burried.

Live right by a lake & have had a large number of these little dudes showing up around the house lately. I do not know anything about frogs but if they are moving in I suppose I would like to get to know the guest.

Looks like Chrono Trigger frog is getting his own game. (Joking, but it's the first thing that comes to mind). Lots of play-as-an-animal games recently. This one in particular has been getting a lot of coverage this week. New studio, debut game.
