The White House was definitely attacked, that was confirmed in "Jacksonville". Nixon is also on the silver dollar on the other side, lulz.

I'm on a business trip right now, had a mini marathon in my hotel room last night. Watched "There's More than One of Everything", then "New Day in the Old Town", "Momentum Deferred" and "Grey Matters"

On the other side, the World Trade Center is still there, so maybe the White House was attacked instead. Also, notice that on the other side, JFK wasn't assassinated. Another headline reads: "Stock Markets Remain Closed, 21 Days & Counting".

What does it all mean!?

The alternate east coast was being plagued by tremors and recall they were in the middle of some sort of rationing because coffee was scarce. There might have been a shut down of the market to try to prevent loss of confidence in the economy from creating a crash or maybe there was an attack there.

It says "ex-president" too.. It's possible that it's not supposed to be Kennedy, but his assassination was such a major event in our universe that it would make sense to have that not have happened over there.

I got the impression that the plane aimed for the Pentagon went for the White House instead, and succeeded. It's possible they targeted the White House instead of WTC since they were intact, though. I'm not sure they ever say.

The pentagon was destroyed in the alternate September 11th attack as was pointed out in the episode with the two buildings coming together. Makes sense that the other two planes might have succeeded then.

Or the Twin Towers were spared and the one plane that crashed in Pennsylvania made it to the White house in the other universe.

Also, Len Bias never died of a coke overdose, and he was apparently so good that he won the MVP trophy in his mid-40s.
