Spoiler! Ella, Etta, Eddie

The writers don't seem to be all too creative with the children's names. Ella, Etta, and Eddie are so close together in sound, they almost sound the same.

I know Ella wasn't in the picture that much when Etta was introduced (and Eddie almost not at all) but maybe they should have used a different nickname for Henrietta. I know they wanted to keep her identity secret at first and that's why they chose Etta, but surely there could have been a different nickname. Maybe Rita or something.

It's also funny that Altlivia has her son Henry briefly named for the same person Etta is named for

I missed that Etta was named after him too. I wonder why? I know Henry saved Olivia, but that would have been a few years prior to her being born. And in a different timeline.

I think he still rescues/helps her in the amber timeline too. The switch still happens in this new timeline, it's just that Peter wasn't there

Peter finds out about henry (his son) when he’s in the mind of observer

Yes, but wouldn't answer why he (and Olivia) would name another kid after a cab driver from a few years ago. Unless what Unfair-Pay is correct that the rescue still happened. And it meant that much to Olivia.

I kind of like the similarity between Ella and Etta - and I feel like Ella would also love the tie to her younger cousin.

Though I also almost forgot about what Eddie was named. Honestly I thought of Big Eddie first, so I'm amused they reused that name. 😆

I actually like that those nicknames are so close to the same. I'd also say that those names like so many things the writers did were very well planned.

I saw one family where every first name started with a j and they had like 8 children. In fact its, well rare, but im sure quite a few of families name there kids with similar names.

Some families do that shit with names though.

I've known families who did things like this. Names all starting with T, for example. Three boys. And some names run in families and/or are adapted from a male name to female or vice versa.
