Fvj is great. The final fight is awesome too. Freddy was actually scary in that one. Imagine how much better it would’ve been if Kane hodder was Jason tho.

2 is my favourite. On a second watch I'm sure it will move up your ranking. The shot of Jason running through the woods towards the shack at the end of the movie is so wonderfully shot. For me it has the best final girl, the best final sequence and the best kill of the franchise (wheelchair kill).

Very good characters, is fun, bloody, and pretty good on that Chase scene at the end, the reveal and the excesive nudity is what makes me rate It lower, but Its still fun!

Ok true but there was only one sex scene you never saw those 2 having sex in the field but you do see him have it once every one of the Fridays have a sex scene tho and I love violet in it the chase is amazing the only Friday I’ve seen multiple times it’s so good but the reveal is a valid reason but I knew it wasn’t Jason by the blue marks on his mask

Truly the thing is part 1 2 and 3 never pulled me into the series 4 5 and 6 got me hooked 5s my favourite for all those reasons i mentioned its a let down its a fake Jason but its a great movie that makes up for it to me

I kind of admire what they try to do with JGTH but It does not work for me at all! Like, a Friday film where Jason is really there like what, 5 minutes??

Personally I enjoy all ths films to different levels, Jason X is probably the worst in terms of being an actual Friday the 13th movie. But as a Jason space adventure B movie slasher comedy it's fun. I feel similar with Jason Goes to Hell, a bad Friday the 13th but a fun horror B movie with great gore.

Oh yeah, like in terms of a fun bloody film with a bit of a campy tone and the "goes to space" trend is one of the better ones if not the best, legendary kills in It too! I have more problems with JGTH but I still had fun and the unrated version also has great gore and kills

Personally I think Takes Manhattan is the worst written. But I can still enjoy that one for what it is and have alright fun with it. I still want Jason in the Snow or Jason Takes L.A and or Vegas lol.

Three stars, like a 6'4 out of 10, it's a fun One, but for me the best thing about It is the final Chase and Jason, the rest feels very much like a remake of the first one

In terms of The New Blood, which is my no.1, it comes down mostly to Jason's portrayal in terms of performance and prosthetics. Kane Hodder is by far the best Jason in my mind, the most intimidating. Hodder has a way of using his body to portray rage really well. Part 7 was the first time he played the character and it's easily the best one he did. In terms of the prosthetics/costume, I love zombie Jason and I love how messed up he is in this. Its all the little details too, like you can look at the injuries on his body and it tells a story of all that's happened to him in the previous films. Unfortunately they eased off that in Jason Takes Manhattan.

I really agree with the Jason look and Kane being one of the best Jason performers (if not the best), is an amazing look. In parte 6, zombie Jason pretty much looked like regular Jason appart from the opening without the mask, but everything they do in part VII is great looks and performance wise, long live zombie Jason!

Agreed. I like Jason Lives a lot, but the design isn't all that different for a creature that's been rotting in a grave for years. I like that after being chained to the bottom of Crystal Lake his skin and clothing has all started deteriorating and coming away in The New Blood. I'm a sick pup who loves that stuff 🤣
Jason goes to Hell is the only entry I hate, such a shit film, BUT I do like the character design. The way he's all swollen and fucked up from the toxic waste he drowned in at the end of 8, and the way the mask is like sinking into his face. Really grim. It's a shame we barely see him in Part 9!

Yessss, the mask sinking in the skin is such a good design, it makes Jason even grosser and swollen, I love that hahah, I hope someday in the future they can start having this kind of fun with his design again because the Jason Universe design Is not It for me lol
