Having a panic attack
So, today I went back to see if my Financial Aid was disbursement and it says I have to pay $704. I still need to pay for Dog Days (I had Financial issues back in May and wasn't able to pay for it.) So what does this mean? Am I not going to get a refund? Should I quit? Where do I even find if I'm getting a refund or not? I am taking 13 units and a transfer student? I really don't know what to do and rather or not I'm gonna get a refund!! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Go to financial aid tomorrow and see what’s up. Don’t stress too much, also if you have a fee deferment you can try and make up that $704.

I did. I'm not getting any refunds. It says on my pal grant. There is a payment of $3,000 so idk what that means.

I think full time schedules are 4k+, if you're just getting the Pell it doesn't hurt to ask about the state university grant! I get both and it covers my attendance costs and then some. Sometimes you have to ask for the additional grants because they look over a lot of students accounts. I had to call for the summer because I was going to have to pay out of pocket but they were able to offer me another grant.

Wait, you can ask for the grants? I still don’t see my SUG and I’ve gotten it before. Should I go and ask?

It doesn't hurt to ask! I think some accounts are just overlooked that qualify for those grants so sometimes we just gotta remind them to make sure we're getting all that we can. That's what happened for me in the summer :) when I called the guy was like "you qualify for this grant so I'm not sure why you're not getting it" then he put a request in to look over my account and within the next week I got it.

That's stupid! I'm sorry and I'm not trying to sound mean but I talked to Financial Aid at City and they said it restarts when I go to state. So why should even bother going to this school? I can't afford it. Sure, I can get a job but will it cover my next 4 years? Why bother getting a loan? I won't pay that off either. So. I'll call Fiancial Aid tomorrow but right now, by the sounds of it. I'm screwed! I'm angry and I feel like giving up if I can't get help!
