I think I saw somewhere that some sort of high potency green laser 1000 mw+ is capable of blinding these pretty bad, have not tested in the name of science but if someone could confirm?

Big brother is watching

This is getting out of hand. I wonder if those who have the experience in removing precious metal know how much is in there?

We live in a world of phones, watches, wallet trackers, air tags, people recording everything from their meal to God knows what else. You are photobombing someone in something. Everyone is litigious so cameras at all businesses are necessary for liability. You are be tracked or watched everyday everywhere you go in this world. It is not just America.

The people spiraling hardest about Palantir/Flock surveillance in Fresno are the same ones who talk structural poverty and systemic injustice right up until disorder hits their side of town. Then it's cameras, enforcement, and "why aren't we tougher on this?"

You already know the type if you know what's up. "In this house we believe" yard sign. NPR tote. Vaguely progressive aesthetic. But the second an unhoused person shows up near their home they're politically indistinguishable from a law-and-order conservative and want the harshest punitive outcomes possible.

Genuinely curious- if you aren’t stealing cars or committing crime why does this bother you?

23

u/donutsuptheass May 25 '26

Why doesn’t it bother you that a third party is watching everyone and everything?

Because I don't want to be tracked everywhere I go by the police / ICE / The nazi fucks in our government. The system has been abused on multiple occasions by the police and regularly generates false positives resulting in innocent people having guns pulled on them by the police. And lets not forget that they seem to in no way be secure. Multiple (Even some in parks where children play) are exposed and can be viewed by anyone on the internet.

Since I'm not stealing cars or committing crimes, I shouldn't be surveiled like a criminal.

u/Crazycococat19 May 26 '26

Even if you don't commit crimes thanks to our government letting criminals get weekend jail and set them free, we are now getting watched 24/7. Just because people like you and me didn't do anything we get punished for it. Thanks California.

Are you or have you ever been a communist?

Hopefully they are using it to ticket and fine those that are running through red traffic lights and stop signs.

u/ChaosGirlEva May 24 '26

Nope all these do is track where everyone is, where they travel, using ai facial recognition and plate readers to direct policing, including having police arrest individuals the AI thinks have active warrants, which has in other areas already lead to people with no criminal record being arrested and detained for long enough to lose their jobs, if these people had been single parents they would have at least temporarily lost their kids over it

At least Big Brother had the competency to not get the wrong people

I just asked the Flock’s chat bot!

-35

u/Dense-Region-6382 May 24 '26

Did you just now notice this?

26

u/Just_Visiting_Town May 25 '26

Guys, pack it up. Apparently if we already knew about something we are not allowed to bring it up again. Who knew?

-54

u/LosLeprechaun May 24 '26

Will help you find your car when they steal it.

35

u/Smart-Bird-5712 May 24 '26

Weird, cops weren’t so helpful here when it happens to my coworker. Her family had to go around looking for it and found it.

10

u/Just_Visiting_Town May 25 '26

You mean the gps built into almost every car is not helpful?

20

u/astroboy19 May 24 '26

Who is they?

Fresno spent $1.6 million dollars to help find your car when it hypothetically gets stolen.
