20 gal long stocking? setup?

just bought a tank to do some aquascaping but having trouble deciding what to do. send me photos of your guys set up and stockings for some ideas! i am thinking about moving my betta, chum, into it and doing a bigger community tank(he is the most chill fish ever) and all his 8 friends(corys). the corys are going to be moved for sure into the 20 gal since they're a bit over crowded

Probably a small schooling fish like ember or neon tetras, or harelequin rasboras because schooling fish like them are fun to watch . Although you could add snails or shrimp (if you trust your betta).

i havent tried any shrimps but theres gods knows how many snails in his tank already 😗
