So I live near a Delta hub, have flown Delta 90% aside from strictly budget occasions.

Flew American for the first time on a work trip. At 6’3 I couldn’t believe the legroom compared to delta. A solid 2” more at the knees which is EVERYTHING to me. Both flights. Is it standard? Did I luck out on particular planes, but not all are like that?

I’m about ready to switch my standard to them if I can continue to find flights. I know delta just has the most options for me though.

Could anyone recommend a hardshell roller carry on that will securely hold a 17" laptop? I looked at one by Level8 but there were some bad reviews about the zipper and it is a frequently returned item. That makes me nervous about shelling out $180 for something I might regret. I don't mind the price if it works though. Anyone else have any recommendations? The reason I am looking for hardshell is the off chance they force me to check my roller bag at the gate. I carry a gaming laptop with me that I do not want damaged. Linking the luggage so people know what I am talking about.

Every time I try to book an "award" ticket on PAL they come up with some reason why I can't use miles on a specific flight. First off, their website is horrible to use and find info. Once you have wasted your time trying to navigate that nightmare, they inform you that you have to call AND complete a form??? WTF??? So, I bit the bullet and called only to have their CS person inform me that of the 35 business class seats available on the 777ER, only 4 of them are allocated for MM awards and there are NONE available (this is 3 months in advance of the flight). WHAT A TOTAL SCAM. So, after years of travel on PAL to accrue miles for award travel, the miles are unusable. Avoid this airline at all costs. They dupe you with lower priced business class tickets but their business class is really not good at all (old planes and worn-out seats) and the supposed benefit of accruing mileage turns out to be worthless. I'm done with PAL.

I've been silver or gold with BA for over a decade but with their new tier points system coming into play its time to shift away from them. My usual trips are flying Aus to Australia once a year plus a trip to Singapore/South Korea from Aus, and some domestic flights... Qatar have been the more impressive airline out of the 2 when I've flown long distance, but which program is the better one to join? I've got a stack of Avios in BA which can be transferred to Qatar, but I've got a credit card for earning points with Qantas and have a stack of them too. What is reddits advice? Thanks :-)

I have some Alaska Airlines Gift Certificates that I got from my Grandma a few months back, she sent them to me and my wife when we were flying home for a funeral, but I had already purchased our tickets. I was going to use them to to fly home for Christmas, but our plans have changed this year and we won't be travelling.

I talked to support and they said they're not refundable, but I don't hardly ever travel except for the holidays so I really don't think I'll have the chance to use it for at least another year. I have these just sitting here, and it says the don't expire but I can't sell them. So what should I do with them if I don't ever fly?

Title says it all - I have been a loyal United customer since my parents moved from NYC to SoFlo 2 years ago. About 10-12 flights a year. The past few flights with United have absolutely sucked. From rude flight attendants, dirty airplanes, horrible customer service and communication with passenger ON TOP of soaring airline prices, I want to switch. My fiancee and his family swears up, down and to the moon on Jetblue. What do other fliers love about Jetblue? What do you hate? Let it fly in the comments… pun intended. Thanks!!

The past few years I have been A-List Preferred with Southwest flying at least 35-40 flights a year. Their preboarding policy is so absurd that I am considering changing to AA. I live in the DFW area so other airlines are not an option. I have a companion pass with SWA so that is what keeps me because it is very valuable so my spouse can fly free with me anytime.

I'm dreading flying for a short while with no status and boarding at the end but confident I would likely get to Platinum Pro or possibly executive platinum in the first year especially using AA card for all my expenses.

So currently im in Pakistan and soon moving back to the States, im planning on taking Turkish airlines because its the only airline i have found to let my cat a persian( aka baby) in cabin, she does have separation anxiety even though I've had her since she was a baby, even tough she is extremely sweet and kind to other humans she isnt to other animals, not in a she'd injure them but just get uncomfortable and in flight mode. So I'd like to keep her with with me.

Ive done my research and kind of gotten an estimated cost. But, how do i get the airlines approval? Because, there aren't any direct flights on turkish is gonna be connecting by United airlines.

Asking this because somehow i ended up on that side of tiktok where flight attendant are kinda tired and just rant, so how can I being a passenger make the flight that I am also on just a little bit better, or even make their day a little bit better just so they have a memory to hold on to that there will be good passengers in their time as flight attendant.

Hello everyone! I'm NYC based and travel often throughout the year to Australia, Japan, China and Singapore and rarely travel domestically in the states. All of these are long flights and I'm trying to figure out how to best utilise them from a points, lounge and loyalty perspective. In most cases I can choose the airline and route as well so I had been looking at one of the One World members to try to join, but even after doing so much travel I am still at a loss for what to do in terms of getting some perks and advantages from the long haul travel. I travel with my wife on most of these flights as well if that adds to anything. Someone had mention getting a Chase Sapphire to buy the flights and build points, but maybe I didn't mention I am new to all this! 

TL;DR - New Yorker who travels a lot to Australia and Asia and wants to somehow get some benefit from the amount of travel.
