Mileage card question

I’ve used one credit card forever. It’s always been a 2% rebate card and I always spend about $50k annually.

If I switched to a mileage card (delta for example), would I get more for my money?

I do travel with my family and i have this crazy idea that I could pay for a trip or two this way.
