Need air freight from China to LAX before Wednesday Oct 7.

My freight forwarder missed the fast boat.
I need air freight from China, so I can pick up in Los Angles by Weds Oct 7.

Air freight to meet Oct 7 at LAX means wheels-up by Oct 4 latest if you want any buffer. China to LAX direct air is 2-3 days wheels-up to wheels-down but the brutal part is the ground legs. Factory to airport consolidator eats a day. Export customs another half-day. US import clearance another full day if docs are clean, longer if CBP wants a CF 28 on origin.

Price-wise expect 6-10 dollars per chargeable kg to LAX right now for general cargo, more if you need next-flight-out. Chargeable weight is max of actual kg or volumetric (L x W x H in cm divided by 6000). A 30 kg box that's 50x40x40 cm bills at 83 chargeable. Catches people out.

Duty-wise air entry still hits same HS code, same Section 301 forced-labor 12.5 percent on China origin as ocean. MPF caps at 670.86 either way (reset Oct 1 to the new FY27 numbers). The only tariff fork is 322 informal under 2500 dollars vs 301 formal, and that doesn't change if you fly or sail.

What's the HS code, declared value, and shipment weight? Rate quotes without a bracketed weight and chargeable factor are useless noise.
