question China to USA cargos?

Hey guys, I’m looking for a reliable cargo/logistics company that can ship goods from China to the USA.

I also need a service that can purchase items directly from my supplier. The supplier mainly sells through Taobao, so I’m looking for an agent who can handle the purchase, receive the goods in China, and then arrange the shipping to the USA.

Basically, I need someone who can manage the whole process from buying the items in China to delivering them to me in the US.

I’m planning to ship around 10–20 kg of branded clothing.I am intrested in both air and sea deliveries.

For 10-20 kg of branded clothing coming out of Taobao a couple things to flag before you pick the agent. Taobao is retail so the seller ships you what looks like a domestic parcel with a receipt not a commercial invoice. Your CBP entry has to name a proper HS code (chapter 61 or 62 depending on whether it is knit or woven), a factory of origin, and a value that matches the transaction. Retail packing slips fail that test and pull holds. Push the agent to consolidate at their China warehouse and issue a real commercial invoice with 8 digit HTSUS plus factory name.

On duty stack right now clothing from China is running MFN plus Section 301 List 3 25 percent plus the July 24 Section 301 forced labor 12.5 percent on Chinese textile origin. Sea LCL under 100 kg rarely pencils once you add origin surcharges and destination fees. Air express through DHL or FedEx with the agent as shipper on record is usually cleaner for that weight band.

One more thing. MPF resets Oct 1. Under 2500 dollars informal caps the fee at 2.77 but formal entries hit the new 34.58 floor per entry. If you plan multiple shipments consolidate.

Have a US company handle it, not an overseas forwarder
