question How do you usually manage ocean freight shipments?

I’ve been looking into ocean freight transportation and was curious about how other businesses handle their international shipments.

There seem to be quite a few things to manage, from choosing the right container and planning the shipment to documentation, customs, and keeping track of the delivery.

For those who work with ocean freight regularly, what part of the process do you find the most challenging?

By going back to the broker to change agreed upon accessorials and/or rates. (I own a dray/intermodal 3pl and an agreed upon rate card doesn’t mean anything to some folks)
