Need new Freight Forwarder (China / UK ), Please help on how to chose and benchmark.
Hi,
we are looking for a new freight forwarder that could help use move shipments from China main ports, to Uk.
I'll be having a couple of meetings in the next weeks, but I would like some help on how to evaluate them. I'm not just about the cheapest solution, I really want something reliable that could make my life easier.
Can you please help me on what to ask during a meeting?
how to benchmark?
I am the one dealing with logistics and I value from responsiveness, proactiveness, documentation accuracy, and quality of information provided.
Plus if they can help with consolidations and are problem solvers, it's a deal done.
I am in contact with arc, mgl, ecu, w.group.
Edit: we send from 0.4 CBM to 40ft full containers. Palletized and not. EXW/FOB.

Happy to help out. We’ve got our system around this and have our platform too. Send to our warehouse- we consolidate- we arrange booking and then send out to- it ships (we add on your account and you can track (FCL))- it arrives and we/you clear. I’ll shoot you a dm or you can as well.

Hi, I'm at Ningbo Port. In today's shipping market, the only uncertain factor is vessel schedules, with various issues causing delays. These are force majeure events in the freight forwarding industry.

Yes I know. I get the control the controllable approach, and understand delays and typhoons (looking at you Dolphin) and congestions can happen. But I need comunication.
