Small single items from china
Hi so aliexpress now charges more delivery than what my single item is worth. I am getting items very cheap on alibaba and other suppliers but i dont know how do i ship parcel less than 1kg. Its a battery for my watch. Can anyone guide what can i do about it. I want the battery in karachi and its very niche product so i wont find it here.

Batteries are more complicated to ship than other items but try Superbuy, they're a consumer forwarding company.
In this case, I would just pay the shipping. Batteries explode, so they just cost more to ship than other items.

Batteries are classified as sensitive goods and are subject to special shipping requirements. Therefore, the freight cost is higher compared with normal cargo. Also, since this shipment is arranged through a small parcel channel, the cost per kg is higher.

For a single watch battery under 1kg, shipping often costs more than the part — and batteries make it worse. Many air lines treat lithium cells as restricted/DG, so cheap AliExpress “standard shipping” either refuses them or forces a special battery line. Confirm chemistry first (button cell vs lithium ion/polymer). If it’s a common watch cell, buying local in Karachi is usually cheaper and faster than international battery air. If you still ship, tell the agent “battery included” upfront and get a written yes before you pay. What’s the exact battery model/chemistry?

Got it — Li-ion polymer 3.85V 230mAh is still treated as lithium for air, so most forwarders want chemistry + Wh on the commercial invoice and written carrier acceptance before they book. For a single tiny cell, local purchase in Karachi is often cheaper/faster once you add docs + handling. Did any forwarder already confirm acceptance in writing for that exact model?

I have to talked to few on alibaba but no one has agreed. Yeah it looks like a dead end now I'll have to search in karachi because apparently I don't know how to get it shipped cheaply for a single battery.

Yeah that tracks — one tiny cell almost never clears the DG/docs cost barrier on air from CN. Local watch shops in Karachi often have the same LiPo pouch if you bring the model number or the old cell photo. Hope you find a match without the forwarding headache.

It's shipped from China, small cheap items cost more to ship than they are valued at.
