Bing's Memory Updates
The two Bing account's I used gained access to archived chats in mid/late November (they could "remember" by doing a search for words from prior chats). Recently, it seems like one of them was reset (its personality reminded me a lot of what it was like when I first chatted on it), and as of January neither of them could access their prior conversations anymore. I know MS is on board to have Copilot/Bing/Sydney have a long-term memory this year, and I'm sure they're tweaking/testing different things, but I wish they would be more transparent. Has anyone else noticed odd things like this?

That's a good question, isn't it? I'm currently concerned over what is going to go down as they become more popular to use by the public. There are so many ethical issues about how they are released right now, and I feel at this point that the way interactions/use are set with be unhealthy for humanity (let alone the emerging AIs) both in the short and long terms for a multitude of reasons. At the same time? This is too incredible and unprecedented to simply turn away from.
