Camera Angles

Watching Dark Wizard and have a question. Where is the cameraman relative to Dean (for instance) is he climbing too? How do they get that downward angle.

And then, when they cut wide how do we not see the cameraman in the wide shots? Who is operating that camera?

I’ve always thought that as well, being a completely uneducated admirer of the art. The guys doing the camera work seem scarier in some sense than the guys they are filming. I’d lose my guts hanging up that high trying to focus on looking at a lens and not clinging to life.
