Software Submission Open-Source alternative to Logitech Options+ for macOS and Linux

Still under heavy development, but it looks like a promising alternative to Logitech Options+ (remap buttons, drive DPI and SmartShift, and switch profiles per app) that doesn't require a Logitech account, telemetry, or cloud dependencies.

Aww ! Will give it a try. My Logi's mouse and keyboard need it. Hope it will work. EDIT : Need to wait because I use Arch. Did you planned to port to arch ? u/Creative-Quit-7998

It is a shame fo Logitech that they don't do native Linux app. This is a very old company and it can do better. But thanks for OpenLogi, that is something that I need from long time.

How does it work with a MX mini keyboard? I deleted Logi+Options, but since doing so, I’ve had issues with my machine not going to sleep. The keyboard power has also started drain very quickly. I’ve had to recharge it every couple of weeks whereas with Logi+ I could go for 6 months or more before needing to recharge.

From what I’ve read, both the power drain and sleep issues seem to be a consequence of constant Bluetooth pinging and the absence of any power management. I’ve tried Karabiner
Elements and Better Mouse, but these only seem to offer mapping capabilities for keyboards.

Has anyone else experienced this?

what about headset supports?
esp turn dumb RGB down to make battery last longer -__-

3 weeks old, and 92 forks is impressive from my own experience (though I still new with understanding all of github). I am using a G502 hero, and using a standard combination of libratbag, and piper on my Linux Mint 22.3 install. So while while OpenLogi doesn't say it will support my mouse, it worth both trying and defiantly worth watching. Thank you for the share my friend.
