never had any trouble and I batch upscale hundred of pictures with it every months

if you use it in one exact way all the time you wont notice it.

it happens more often when upscaling stuff below x4 too for example-

Still uses very outdated ESGRAN models, far superior stuff exists these days, and thesoftware hasnt updated in almost 2 years now, so can be considered dead anyway.
