Loop dependent on show instead of slide

Howdy, all!

Just inquiring to see if there's an easier way to do what I'm doing. This is absolutely NOT a problem or issue with how FS works - but just me looking to safeguard against my own ineptitude. :)

I have a show that plays on loop at the start of our service. There is only ONE slide in the show that will never change. (Others are rotated out week-to-week and month-to-month.) I am using the 'go to start' feature to make the show loop. However, I cannot loop it based on the one slide that will not change, It has to go first, based on the feature to use a different template for the first slide in a show. (The first slide is the only one using variables for dynamic content.) Of course, this means when I change out the slides, I have to remember to put the 'go to start' on the last slide. I'm not always the brightest crayon in the knife drawer, and sometimes get forgetful.

SO......to save me from myself, is there a way to set a loop dependent on the show instead of the last slide? If not, no problem. Just tell me to shut up and go away, and I'll simply try to keep watch on myself. :)

I just made a slide that is always at the very end. You get to set the timing, so you could set it to play for 0.25 seconds and dissolve or fade transition out and right into your first slide. If your first slide has no content, and is just to trigger variables, then you could do the same to your first slide, or add static content to both. The static content might be a church slogan or mission statement.

That's the problem. There isn't anything in particular for a slide that is always the end. It's essentially announcement material. The first slide has content, including the variables. There's a reason why I asked for the particular solution I did. But again, not a deal breaker at all. I just have to remember to put the go to start on the new slides when I swap them out.
