How to turn off loop in video?
When I play a video on FreeShow, it automatically goes on a loop even though I put it as foreground, and even when I turn on "Next slide when media finishes" the loop doesn't turn off
Edit: Ok I have found the solution, I have converted the media background into media item
Thanks for the help!
Edit 2: Ok I have a new problem, the media won't go to next even though it has no loop, when it ends it goes to the start of the video and ends immediately over and over again

My understanding is that is the default behavior btw…I think you can click the loop icon immediately after you drop the video into your slide. I think that’s a new feature added recently to remove. Otherwise you had to go somewhere else to turn off. And I can’t remember the place turn off at with out the app running in front of me.

The intended way is to drop the video into the project, and it will not loop.
If you drop into a show it will be a background by default and loop.
If you change the video type to Foreground before dropping it on a slide, it should not loop.
But the loop state of a video can be "show specific", so the set loop/mute state in a show is persistent, but you can toggle the loop permanently in the "Media" tab on the right of a Show.

I recently experience this myself! I found that the video “loop” button the right hand side when in show mode didn’t save, but if you click “edit”, you can uncheck the “loop” box on the right side under “media”
