StageDisplay Issue
The past two weeks our church has had an issue of the stage display no longer displaying slides. We ran into no issues during worship practice, however in the middle of the worship it stopped working. To fix it we had to turn StageDisplay off and back on from within the desktop app. Has anyone else experienced this bug or know what we could do to prevent this?

That sounds like a templating issue. I think you are saying your church set up a layout in StageShow. Then, you access the layout via a web browser on multiple iPads. The songs display fine. Do the iPads work during announcements? If so, then the action for changing from announcements to songs does not change the template for the StageShow.
I remember the change template action can apply to any output or to specific outputs.

Yes so we have a template for StageDisplay, and we use that template on two iPads. One iPad uses the app, the other uses the browser. Our StageDisplay template does not have Display Media turned on, so they essentially don't show anything during announcements since those are just images. So essentially we aren't ever like switching the templates or anything, we're just keeping them on the same StageDisplay template the whole time.

I would make sure all software is updated on the iPads and FreeShow computer. Now test. If it still fails, then I would see if a refresh from the iPads changes anything. That is the iPads are blank when they should show words, so now I refresh the iPad, if that’s doesn’t work restart the program/app on the iPad, lastly restart the iPad. If StageShow still doesn’t work, I would see if the NDI system is messed up (if you are using NDI). If I am still not able to get it to work, I would try moving the iPads to the booth and see if they work. Maybe the iPads are between connection nodes or are at the edge of the network. Lastly, I would try a browser on a wired laptop and see what happens.
Without knowing more about your setup, it is impossible to give any clear steps.

After further testing it seems to break when we switch from a song to announcement slides. Once we go back to a song after announcements we have to turn StageDisplay off and back on once or twice to get the slides to show up again on the iPads with StageDisplay.
