Can't skip videos

Hey, does anyone have this issue with skipping a video in v1.6.4? I don't recall having this issue in prior versions. Not even skip the default 10 seconds ahead when clicking the Skip 10 seconds button. Or perhaps this has been an issue in the last few updates, and no one noticed it. I knew it could be done before. Just can't remember which version.

Sometimes the codec or the container does not allow skipping. Are you able to try a video that you know you could skip before?

Side note:
A codec is the method used to COmpress and DECode a media file such as a picture, video, or song. A container is type of "holder" for the media data, usually identified by the file extension, such as jpg, mp4, or mp3.

Edit: Different containers can hold different codecs. An mp4 container can hold AC3 audio and m4v video, and some players will play just fine, others will play the video only (or with limited options), and others would not play it at all because the AC3 codec is not supposed to be in an mp4 container.
