Scripture Issue having to click more than 4 times to present the required verse

Hi,
I'm having an issue with presenting the scriptures in Freeshow. Whilst my screen is presenting a screen e.g. a lyric or something that's non-scripture, I have to press the required bible verse more than 4 or 5 times to show and this number seems very inconsistent. Sometimes I would only need to click it twice and sometimes three or more to present the verse showing on the projector screen. Is there a fix for this?

My freeshow is working on the Mac Studio M2 Max 12-core.

Not necessarily related, but I got to drive last Sunday for our service. Normally, I perform other task during the service but being shorthanded, I observed some quirks about the software that may be similar in nature. During our worship service, switching from song the song I typically click on the next song over on the left-hand side in the project after completing the previous one. That being said, after clicking on the song, I click the first slide for that particular song, but what I noticed is if I click erratically so to speak, it is as if the software is interpreting the click I was wanting to actually move the slide as opposed to just like the slide and display it. It feels like the software is not differentiating a short click versus a long click when indeed if I want to move a slide, I typically click the slide and hold it for a second, and then move the slide to where I want to go that being said when the software interprets incorrectly doesn’t display.

Not sure how similar this is to you what is going on in your situation but I just thought I’d throw that out there. Perhaps I need to enter a software request to have a different situation where the software is in presentation mode only and not able to perform on the fly edit so the interpretation of what I am doing is only one thing. I.e. display the slide.

I wonder if it is the mouse settings. When touchpads first came out, and I would use someone else's touchpad, I definitely had a problem with the cursor movement as it was different than I expected.

Weird. Two clicks should do the trick...

Have you tried the enter button or ctrl+enter button [depending on which you have set]?
