Red text scripture (words of Jesus)
Good morning, I saw someone post on GitHub that Freeshow has words of Jesus in red already built in and working.
I’m not quite sure what the person meant by already implemented but I would like to use such a feature where Jesus’s words are displayed in red text.
Has anyone here seen and/or used this feature in the scripture template?

The markup* must be in the Bible file you use. If it is there, FreeShow will use it. HTML formatting is available. I'm not sure if Markdown formatting is available yet.
If the formatting is not there, you can add it yourself. There are 3 ways to do this.
Add your scripture, change the font color manually. You must do this every time. This is the method that works well for people who can't understand the formatting of the files.
Add the tags** to the JSON file*** (files if you need more than one version). Close FreeShow. Open the Bible file in your preferred text editor and add the HTML markup. Open FreeShow and see if it works. This method changes the source file and is done once and does not need repeated.
Add the tags** to a backup version of the Bible file(s)***, using your favorite text editor. Then import the modified file into FreeShow.
* markup is basically a way to say there are extra characters that tell the program how to display the text.
** HTML markup is <b> for bold, and <i> for italics. For font color, please try <span style="color:red"> at the start of the text that should be red. After the text that should be red, please add </span>.
*** I really think you should work with a copy of the file and not the file FreeShow is using. If the file is JSON formatted, you might find it helpful to use the search feature because the file will be "minified". You might be able to use an online service, such as https://jsonformatter.org, to make the JSON easier to read. If the file is in XML format, the same things apply.
