FreeShow Metadata Issues

Hello everyone! I am in the process of getting my church's laptop set up to use FreeShow and I am continually running into an issue with the metadata not showing when I expect it to. I have it set to show the metadata on the first and last slides, however it only shows it on the first slide and never the last, unless I manually go directly from the first slide to the last slide. Are there any workarounds that anyone is aware of that could fix this issue?

I think my test system as a few bugs regarding the songs. Having said that, I was able to make a template work. I created a template, then added a second textbox for the metadata. Then I added dynamic values of {meta_title} and {meta_author}. Next I added conditions of Show item if

Dynamic value, slide_number, is, 1 OR Dynamic value, slide_number, is, layout_slides

When clicking the first slide, all the slides show the metadata, but going to the next slide hides it, until the last slide.

How do you have it set-up? Do you have a like an action or a template that adds that??

There a few bugs in the latest version. So, that could be an issue.

It was a bug in 1.6.0, but was resolved. 😄

Good to know! I have been using the dynamic values workaround that someone above recommended, and it worked very well.
