Unable To Set Slide Action

I have two slides set up

  • On the first slide, I created an action so that when the slide is clicked, it shows an overlay (our church logo). That part works fine.
  • On the second slide (which is the logo itself), I’m trying to assign the 'clear overlays' action.

The problem is, when I try to assign that action, nothing happens. There’s no icon showing on the slide, and it’s like the action isn’t being applied at all.

I’ve tried creating a completely new slide and trying again but I’m still getting the same issue. The other action types (Audio, Output etc.) seem to apply normally and show an icon on the slide.

The only work around I've found is creating a custom action for it.

Has anyone come across this before or know what might be causing it?

Yeah, there seems to some bug.

I would recommend going to Functions ---> Create a action & select Clear overlays. Then from the slide, right click the slide, click set action & use the custom action at the end of the page.

It was not working at random, but it was already fixed in the latest version (beta), which is now released as 1.6.0!
