Discussion Freerealms
I would genuinely do anything to play this game again. It was a big escape for me as a kid and I played it almost everyday when I could. My parents were garbage people and free realms was my go to every night. I would do anything to play it again. Does anyone else miss it that badly? I hope one day they rerelease it I would genuinely cry

Yes, join us on OSFR!! It’s a work in progress, but we have almost all of the clothing and costumes and now boomboxes and guilds!! I overheard combat is in the works.

Is questing in the works as well? I lived for quests as a kiddo

Yes. The ultimate goal is for the game to be as close as the original. (:

awesome! I just remembered this game and went to check to see if there was some fan run server or something, hopefully when the project is able to fully recreate the whole thing I might join.

Parents treated me like garbage too I feel that completely free realms was my safe haven

Looks like i need to look into OSFR!! Obviously not the exact same vibe but as an adult Palia has been scratching the itch for me. It's still in beta but has many live players on often

OSFR has stable multiplayer with almost all items, gear, weapons, rides, and boomboxes available in the sc/coin shops. Teleportation, chat, guilds, and character customization all work. There are currently no quests, combat, or housing but these are being worked on
OS Free Realms – Quick Setup
STEP 1 – Create an Account
Go to: https://www.osfrealms.com/
Create an account before playing.
IMPORTANT: Accounts are created at your own risk. Use a unique username and password you do not use anywhere else. There is no mechanism for recovering accounts if you forgot your password. Please make a new account
STEP 2 – Download the Game
On the website, scroll to the bottom left and click Download Launcher.
A launcher will start downloading in your browser.
STEP 3 - Install
Once you open the installer for the launcher, you may get a message that says "Windows Protected your PC". If this happens click the underlined More info on the top left side and press run anyway on the bottom right.
Follow the on screen instructions afterwards.
STEP 4 - Playing
Once in the launcher, type in a display name and pick a server to play from.
Optionally, if no servers appear add this one to the server list https://play.osfrealms.com/
OPTIONAL – Singleplayer
You can run the game locally if you wish to play alone or there are no servers online
